Wayne Wilson

Wayne Wilson, 70, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on July 6, 1942, son of the late Homer and Olvie Wilson. He was a used furniture salesman with Wilson's Used Furniture. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Haynes Wilson of Science Hill, two sons, Doug Turner of Dunneville, KY and Ralph "Bud" Hall of Science Hill, five daughters, Ila Wilson Brooks of Lexington, KY, Darla Blaylock of Knoxville, TN, Lolita Bradshaw of Wisconsin, Treasa Johnson of Science Hill and Kaye Pitman of Somerset, one brother, Gene & (Sandy) Wilson of Science Hill, sixteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Wayna Wilson, two brothers, Dallas Wilson and Carthel Wilson and one grandchild. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Haynes officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 AM Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
