Edwin Brent Piatt Sr.

Edwin Brent Piatt Sr., 49, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on March 5, 1963, son of the late William and Garnett Jackson Piatt. He was co-owner of Piatt Tree Service and a member of Grace Baptist Church. He is survived by two sons, Brent Piatt Jr. and Philip Piatt, two daughters, Tiffany Piatt and Bethany Piatt, all of Somerset, one brother, Marlin Duane Piatt of White Lily, KY and five grandchildren, JonBrent Piatt, Sean Piatt, Mason Piatt, Kaylee Piatt and Taelor Piatt. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Monday, August 27, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Haynes and Pastor Troy McGahan officiating. Burial in the Eubank Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 AM Monday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
