Bobbie Ruth Adkins

Mrs. Bobbie Ruth Adkins, 77, of Harmon Thomas Road in Cadiz, Ky., formerly of Pulaski County, passed away Friday, October 26, 2007 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY. She was born in Lily, Kentucky on September 15, 1930, daughter of the late William T. and Mary Elizabeth (Turner) Howard. She was a homemaker and of the Primitive Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband, Ernest L. Adkins, whom she married on September 30, 1948, two sons, Carl "Steve" Adkins of Lawrenceburg, IN and Russell A. Adkins of Cadiz, KY, three sisters, Dora Slaboda of West Land, MI, Lois Henderson of Aurora, IN and Vera Burris of Cincinnati, OH and two grandchildren, Jamie Adkins and Kyle Adkins. She was preceded in death by her parents. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Thursday, November 1, 2007 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home, Science Hill, KY. Burial will be in Pine Thickett Cemetery. Visitation will after 12 noon Thursday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
