Etta Loretta Swift Todd, 86, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2012 at her residence.
She was born in Rogersville, Tennessee on September 12, 1925, daughter of the late Charles Haskel and Anna Mae Orcut Swift. She was owner and operator of Mini Care Home and a seamstress at Cowden's in Stanford, KY. She was a member of Eubank Church of Christ.
She is survived by two daughters, Deloris Jean Todd McMullin of Waynesburg and Phyllis Ann Todd Foster of Eubank, nine grandchildren, Nancy & (Allen) Singleton Hart, Kenny & (Lesa) Singleton, Michael & (Nicole) Singleton, all of Eubank, Ernest & (Tina) Eldridge of Tampa, FL, James & (Connie) Eldridge of Eubank, Steven & (Ramona) Eldridge of Waynesburg, Teresa & (Eugene) Todd York of Waynesburg, Charles & (Ginger) Todd and James & (Shantella) Todd, both of Eubank, twenty four great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, four brothers, Dallas & (Emma) Swift of Clearwater, FL, Clarence & (Barbara) Swift of Waynesburg, Gordon & (Lily) Swift of Monticello, KY and Virgil & (Ida Mae) Swift of Eubank, one sister, Christine Swift of Waynesburg, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leamon Everett Todd, her parents, one son, Jackie Ray Todd, one grandchild, Lisa Todd Reynolds, two great-grandchildren and four brothers, Hubert Swift, Charlie Haskel Swift Jr. and Leamon Swift.
A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Gerald Carter officiating.
Burial will be in Goochtown Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Monday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
