Hershel W. Hubble, 90, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Monday, September 10, 2012 at his residence.
He was born in Woodstock, Kentucky on December 30, 1921, son of the late Coy and Isabelle Abbott Hubble. He was a farmer and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of Elrod Church of God and attended Monticello Street Church of God.
He is survived by his wife, Alma Price Hubble, one son, Linton & (Barbara) Hubble, both of Eubank, three brothers, John Ivan Hubble and William "Bill" Hubble, both of Somerset and Marion Hubble of Woodstock, two sisters, Mildred Wilson of Muncie, IN and Vauda Mae McWilliams of Franklin, IN, three grandchildren, Cindy & (Jerry) Wesley, Lynn & (Jonathon) Goforth and Alan Hubble two great-grandchildren, Taylor Wesley and Avery Wesley, caregiver, Jodie Floyd of Eubank and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Richard Hubble, one brother, Clarence Hubble and one sister, Wanda Norton.
A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Green officiating.
Burial will be in Woodstock Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Post #38.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Donations may be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
