Merian Edward "Ed" Reynolds, 83, of Bandy Willailla Road in Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Monday, November 5, 2007 at Rockcastle County Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born in Crab Orchard, Kentucky on August 24, 1924, son of the late James Logan and Hallie Brown Reynolds. He was a farmer, dog trader and of the Church of Christ faith. He was a disabled American veteran having served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Bernice McKinney Reynolds, three sons, Kenny & (Ruth) Reynolds of West Chester, OH, Jeff Reynolds of Cincinnati, OH and Charles Reynolds of Somerset, two daughters, Linda Gregory of Mt. Orab, OH and Vicki & (James) Watkins of Cincinnati, OH, one step son, Justin Albright of Eubank, one brother, Carl Reynolds of Florida, one sister, Bonnie Parks of Bee Lick, KY, ten grandchildren, two step grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one step great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Bill, Clyde, Lloyd, Bee and Hershel Reynolds and two sisters, Verna Cottorell and Jennie Miller.
A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Thursday, November 8, 2007 at Bandy Church of Christ in Eubank with Bro. Phillip Scott and Bro. Robbie Barron officiating.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery with military honors by the American Legion Post #38.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
