Kathy Mounce

Kathy Mounce, 55, of Eubank, passed away on Friday, Sept. 21, 2012 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born on July 29, 1957, daughter of Beulah Waters McDonald and the late Ira McDonald. She was a member of Floyd Switch Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher for many years. She was a Substitute Teachers aid for Pulaski Co. Schools. She was a sweet and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She will be sadly missed. She is survived by her husband, Timothy Mounce of Eubank, KY., a son Matthew Mounce whom she dearly loved, a sister Karen & (Claude) Denney of Eubank, KY.; a nephew Cody Denney and her mother, several uncles, aunts, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Ira McDonald, grandparents, Fred and Lette McDonald, Stanley and Ida Waters, two uncles, Ivan McDonald, J.C. Denney, one aunt Lavan Denney, and a cousin Don Denney, father & mother-in-law Harold and Wanda Mounce. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Monday September 24, 2012 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Gambrel officiating. Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Kathy Mounce will be after 11 AM Monday September 24, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
