Harold Black, 83, of North Highway 1247 in Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 5, 1924, son of the late Cyrus and Molly Emmerson Black. He was a retired automotive worker for Ford Motor Company, a carpenter and a farmer. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Northside Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine Dick Black, whom he married in 1986, three daughters, Donna & (Tony) Johnson of Ohio and Molly & (Ken) Birch and Crystal & (Rick) Ellison both of Wisconsin, four step children, Frank & (Nancy) Casada, Eddie & (Tracy) Casada, Randy & (Sandy) Casada and Bonita & (Roy) Spears all of Somerset, four granddaughters, two grandsons, five step granddaughters, two step grandsons, one great-grandchild and five step great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Timmy Black, two brothers, Lymon Black and Gene Black and one grandson.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, November 24, 2007 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Muse officiating.
Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 12 noon Saturday at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to Northside Baptist Church Building Fund.
