Jimmie L. Roy

Jim Lee Roy, 67, of East Highway 452 in Eubank, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at his residence. He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on April 29, 1940, son of the late Elwood Roy and Dolly Stringer Wiles. He was self-employed as owner of Eubank Plaza, Jim Roy Real Estate and Roy Storage Center. He is survived by his wife, Christine Hudson Roy, one daughter, Matina Roy & (Joe Turner) of Eubank, one sister, Joann & (Don) Marcum of Corpus Christi, Texas and one granddaughter, Kristen Dick & (K.C. Chappell) of Somerset. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Jim Roy, Jr. and one sister, Gerry Roy. A funeral service will be held at 7:30 PM Thursday, November 29, 2007 at Eubank Baptist Church with Bro. Shelby Reynolds officiating. Visitation from 3 PM to 7 PM Thursday at the church. Donations may be made to Eubank Baptist Church Food Ministry in memory of Jim Roy. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
