Brentis Ray Dick

Brentis Ray Dick, 78, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Hogue, Kentucky on December 11, 1933, son of the late John Thomas Dick and Mary McWhorter Godsey. He was a farmer and a member of King Bee Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Helen Warren Dick, whom he married on May 15, 1953, one son, Jeffery Ray Dick of Lexington, KY, two brothers, Luther Dick of Florida and T. J. Dick of Hebron, KY, five sisters, Judy Cook of Eubank, AnnaLee Hall of Science Hill, Peggy Sue Bowling of Somerset, Mary Jewell Stamper of Cincinnati, OH and Nancy Ann Roy of Nancy. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Terrell Dick, Pearl Dick, Ira J. Dick and Lawrence Dick and three sisters, Ila Davis, Lula Wesley and Ruth Durham. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Davis Hargis officiating. Burial will be in King Bee Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
