Sina Elizabeth (Garrett) Wesley

Sina Elizabeth (Garrett) Wesley, 90, of Wesley Road in Somerset, formerly of Wingate, Indiana, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2007 at the home of her loving niece, Mary Bonner. She was born in Bethel Ridge, Kentucky on October 28, 1917, daughter of the late Tom and Lydia "Lid" (Wesley) Garrett. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of the church of the Nazarene in Crawfordsville, Indiana. She is survived by one sister, Lelah Shoaf of Indiana, her grandchildren, Willie Elliot and Ellen Elliot of Indiana, great-grandchildren, Seth, Megan, Klarisa and Emma and a host of nieces and nephews, all who loved her and will miss her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oather Wesley, her parents, one son, George Wesley, one daughter, Ruth Ann Elliot, son-in-law, Glen Elliot, three brothers, Art, Howard and Henry Garrett and six sisters, Beulah Robinson, Ida Long, Inez Rector, Stella Phelps, Nannie Fannie and Troxie Ashley. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, December 29, 2007 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home, Science Hill with Bro. David Green officiating. Burial will be in Tanner Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
