Ford G. Rutherford

Ford G. Rutherford, 70, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2012 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. He was born on April 14, 1942 in Pulaski County, Kentucky, son of the late Oscar Cleo and Mary Agnes Birt Rutherford. He was a retired Machine Operator for Vaught Bros. He is survived by his fiancée, Brenda Turner of Science Hill, KY; two sons, Robert Rutherford & (Pamela) of Eubank, KY, and Michael Rutherford & (fiancée, Corna Thacker) of Somerset, KY; one daughter, Margaret Rutherford & (fiancé, Dewey Spears) of Eubank, KY; one sister, Emma Wilson of Eubank, KY; eight grandchildren, Grant, Trent, Lane, Lance, Heather & (Jonas) York, Chad, Koty, and Daniel; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Etta Mae Casada Rutherford; four brothers, Charles Russell, Clarence, Robert, and Glen Rutherford; and four sisters, Nanie Mae Rutherford, Nellie Nevels, Della Collett, and Alberta Levine. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Delmer Whitter officiating. Burial will be in Freedom Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Ford Rutherford will be held after 6:00 PM Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
