Fred Allen Buchanan

Fred Allen Buchanan, 63, of Hays Road in Eubank, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2007 at VA Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born in Norton, Virginia on April 18, 1944, son of the late William M. and Beatrice Vicars Buchanan. He retired from the U.S. Air Force attaining the rank of master sergeant. He was a member of Eubank Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Linda Rutherford Buchanan, whom he married on September 14, 1968, one son, William Buchanan of Phoenix, AZ, one daughter, Susan & (Frank) Thomas of Eubank, one sister, Faye Horton of Knoxville, TN and two grandchildren, Titus and Tray Buchanan, both of Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bill Buchanan. Private services will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
