Paul W. Cassada, 69, of Stanford Street in Science Hill, passed away Friday, January 4, 2008 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on July 10, 1938, son of the late Bradford and Elizabeth Baugh Cassada. He was an auto body repairman, a masonry and a Science Hill City Councilman. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma Crawford Cassada, whom he married on January 17, 1975, two sons, Stephen Cassada of Dayton, OH and Mark Cassada of Virginia, three brothers, Larry & (Roberta) Cassada of Eubank and Steve & (Lana) Cassada and Terry Cassada both of Somerset, three sisters, Pat Tilley of Science Hill, Jean & (Bobby) Dick of Cincinnati, OH and Sue & (Morris) Skidmore of Burnside, three grandchildren, Adam Cassada, Megan Cassada and Kylie and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robert Cassada.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Muse officiating.
Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Post #38.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Monday at the funeral home.
