Wilma Jean Fields, 78, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at her residence.
She was born in Letcher County, Kentucky on February 14, 1934, daughter of the late Aaron and Vivian Ison. She was a housekeeper for Holiday Inn for 32 years.
She is survived by three daughters, Helen Louise Wesley of Science Hill, Vivian & (Jack) Dick of Eubank and Regina Rae Fields of Science Hill, one brother, Elmer & (Ann) Ison of Highland, KY, two sisters, Geraldine Belcher of Eubank and Ina Mae Newby of Richmond, KY, sister-in-law, Nell Ison of Eubank, four grandchildren, John Wesley, Angel Wesley, Rodney & (Lori) Dick and Tiffany Dick and six great-grandchildren, Kelsey Snyder, Austin Williamson, Tristan Barron, Makenzie Dick, Devin Wesley and Hayden Dick.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Raymond Fields, who died on January 19, 1996, her parents and one brother, Harvey Ison.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Friday, November 9, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Patrick Butcher officiating.
Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 11 AM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
