Everett Glenn Skaggs

Everett Glenn Skaggs, 73, of the Bobtown community, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2012. He was born in Russell County, Kentucky on December 2, 1938, son of Hattie Burton Skaggs and the late Clarence Skaggs. He was retired from Koetter Wood Working and Cumberland Wood & Chair. He is survived by his wife, Nell L. Huddleston Skaggs, his mother, Hattie Burton Skaggs, two sons, Richard Skaggs and Harold Skaggs, all of Somerset, one brother, Gary Skaggs of Lexington, KY, three sisters, Sadie Barron of Somerset, Charlotte Short of Stamping Ground, KY and Rita Phelps of Somerset, two grandchildren, Kylie Skaggs and Matthew Skaggs, one great-grandchild, Zabery Cox, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Skaggs. A funeral service will be held at 8:30 AM Friday, November 9, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Dunbar officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
