Travis Loren Girod

Travis Loren Girod, 37, of Salyers Street in Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2008 in Charleston, West Virginia. He was born in Van Wert, Ohio on December 7, 1970, son of Oma (Fleenor) Girod and the late Wayne Girod. He was a realtor and a registered nurse. He also loved restoring old cars. He is survived by his mother, Oma Girod of Eubank, one brother, Tony Girod of Richmond, KY, two sisters, Wendy Key of Mooreland, KY and Kim Thompson of Jackson, OH, girlfriend, Lisa Miller of Charleston, WV and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, January 10, 2008 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Grant Hardwick officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in London, KY. Visitation will be after 6 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
