Richard "Green" Dick

Richard "Green" Dick, 74, of Closade Drive in Eubank, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born in Bethel Ridge, Kentucky on June 30, 1933, son of the late Richard and Lola Vaught Dick. He was an appliance repairman and a member of Jacksonville Baptist Church. He is survived by one daughter, Shelia Wear of Peebles, Ohio, one brother, Edwin Dick of Springdale, Ohio, one sister-in-law, Eva Dick of Ocala, Florida and special friends, Richard and Joan Maxey of Eubank. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Lloyd, Roy, Alger, Coy and Donald Dick and three sisters, Minnie Taylor, Myrtle Wesley and Matrie Dick. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, January 12, 2008 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Shelby Reynolds and Bro. Lester Randolph officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday, January 10, 2008 and after 8 AM Saturday, January 12, 2008 at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
