Vermont Hyden

Vermont Hyden, 67, of Nelson Valley Road in Science Hill, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at his residence. He was born in Goodwater, Kentucky on July 10, 1940, son of the late Luther and Nannie Whitis Hyden. He was a carpenter. He is survived by his wife, Jo Harlan Hyden of Science Hill, two sons, David Vermont & (Diana) Hyden of Somerset and Mark Harlan & (Tracy) Hyden of Okinawa, Japan, three brohters, Clayton Hyden of Columbus, IN, Eldon Hyden of Somerset and Leevon Hyden of Science Hill, four sisters, Beulah Janas of Weedsport, NY, Getha Lovins of Burnside, Sue Mize of Science Hill and Sharon Smith of Somerset and three grandchildren, Nadine, Jordan and Taylor. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Gerald and Lewis Hyden. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
