Nola Irene Blevins, 70, of Lafayette, Indiana, formerly of Pulaski County, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2008.
She was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on March 16, 1937, daughter of Minnie Lee Gaddis Wesley and the late Jesse James Wesley. She was a retired supervisor for service workers at Purdue University and a member of St. Paul Community Church in Lafayette.
She is survived by her mother, Minnie Wesley of Somerset, one son, Scott Glynn & (Polly) Blevins of Lafayette, IN, two daughters, Vickie Warf and Peggy & (Mark) Kendall both of Lafayette, IN, three brothers, Joe Steve & (Joyce) Wesley of Somerset, Ronnie & (Geneva) Wesley and Darrell & (Brenda) Wesley both of Science Hill, three sisters, Burnetta & (John) Keeney, Brenda & (Vernon) Godby and Janet Anderson all of Somerset, six grandchildren, Tracy & (Chris) McGirt, Judy & (Adam) Brinson, Amanda & (Russ) Banes, Dustin Kendall, Glenna & (Scottie) Marsell and Cody Blevins and nine great-grandchildren, Danielle, Abby, Kaylee, Raegan, Nola, Jesse, Jacob, Anna and Logan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glynn Blevins, who died in 1984, her father, a son-in-law, David Warf, one brother, Clyde Wesley and a brother-in-law, Dewey Anderson.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, January 19, 2008 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Muse officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 11 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
