Eddie O. Steele

Eddie O. Steele, 44, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at his residence. He was born in New Carlisle, Ohio on October 18, 1968, son of Jean Reynolds Gammel and the late Eddie Steele. He was a member of Science Hill Christian Church and a die hard Kentucky Wildcat fan. He was a jailer for the Lincoln County Jail. He leaves behind a loving wife, De`Sha Thomas Steele, two daughters, Autuam LaPaige King and Kyra Hayley Steele, a son, Travis Caden Steele and a precious granddaughter, Kaylix LaSha Greene, all of Science Hill. He also leaves behind his loving mother, Jean Gammel and stepfather Mark Gammel, his mother-in-law, Nancy Thomas & (Bill Havens), a sister-in-law, Renea Thomas & (Norman Greene), three brothers-in-law, Kevin Thomas, Kody Thomas and Michael Miller, all of Illinois, a special like son, Patrick Greene, many aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Steele, maternal grandparents, Ossie and Dennis Reynolds, paternal grandparents, Freddie and Mary Steele, his father-in-law, Mitchell Thomas and his very special cousin and chosen brother, Travis Carless Reynolds. A funeral service will be held at 3 PM Friday, November 16, 2012 at Science Hill Christian Church with Bro. Charles Lucas officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 AM Friday at the church. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
