David L. Denney

David L. Denney, 50, of Kimberly Drive in Somerset, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2008 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on February 20, 1957, son of Bonnie Long Denney and the late Hershell Denney. He was a merchandiser for Coca Cola. He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Denney of Somerset, one brother, Jerry & (Vicki) Denney of Jacksonville, FL, one sister, Kathy Denney of London, KY, nieces, Angie Wilson of Boston MA and Karen Waggoner of Louisville, KY, nephew, Josh & (Renea) Denney of Science Hill, great-nephew and niece, Jacob and Taylor Denney and special friend Linda Gibson of Somerset. He was preceded in death by his father, one brother, Hershell Denney, Jr., who died in infancy and one sister, Jackie Denney, who died in infancy. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Henry Hull officiating. Burial will be in Goodhope Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
