Latasha Michelle Dobbs

Another beautiful Angel has taken her wings and flown to Heaven way too soon. Latasha Michelle Dobbs, 31, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Alpena Regional Medical Center. She was born on June 13, 1981 in Odessa, TX, daughter of Brent Willard Dobbs, Jr. and Linda Proffitt Dobbs. She was an Aviation Mechanic for Kalitta Air. She is survived by her parents; a son, Caden Lewis Dobbs-Townsend of Science Hill, KY; two brothers, Brent Michael Aaron Dobbs, and Willard Steven Dobbs, both of Somerset, KY; two sisters, Alisha Dobbs of Science Hill, KY; and Crystal Dobbs, of Somerset, KY; two nieces, Halynn Dobbs, and Tiara Dobbs; her grandmother, Shirley Dobbs of Science Hill, KY; and her adopted grandfather, John Casey of Michigan. Special friends, Amy & Rob Casey, Lynn Dawson, Sue Smith & Gene Hendricks, Shane Revill, David & Marie Townsend, along with a host of other family members, and special friends. She was preceded in death by, her grandparents, Gene Proffitt, Christine Proffitt, and Willard Brent Dobbs. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Tuesday December 4, 2012 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Chris King officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Latasha Dobbs memorial fund. Visitation for Ms. Latasha Dobbs will be after 6 PM Monday December 3, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
