Hughie Boggs, 50, of KY South Highway 27 in Waynesburg, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2008 at his residence. He was born in Grayson, Kentucky on January 2, 1958, son of the late Aaron and Rose Burton Boggs. He was a mill worker for Ruckels Farm Supply and of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Donna Coleman Boggs of Waynesburg, his adoptive mother, Ruby Harrison of Waynesburg, one son, Hughie Boggs, Jr. of Grayson, KY, one daughter, Lisa Boggs of Grayson, KY, two step sons, David & (Gina) Sheene of Waynesburg and Scott & (Sarah) Sheene of Stanford, one step daughter, Kimmi Jo Hamm of Grayson, KY, two brothers, James & (Angie) Harrison of Somerset and David Boggs of Ohio, two sisters, Sue & (Wayne) Kates of Eubank and Brenda Boggs of Ohio, one step sister, Loma & (J.C.) Griffith of Elliott County, KY, four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his adoptive father, Walter Harrison and two brothers who died in infancy, Wiley and Charles Elwood Boggs. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, February 2, 2008 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Cecil Roundtree officiating. Burial will be in Kates Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
