Patricia "Patty" Searan

Patricia "Patty" Searan, 72, of Nancy, Kentucky, passed away Friday, December 14, 2012 at University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was born in Springfield, Illinois on July 11, 1940, daughter of the late Estle and Audie Roy Beasley. She was a retired greeter for Wal-Mart and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She was a 1958 graduate of Nancy High School. She is survived by her husband, Jerry L. Searan Sr. of Nancy, two sons, James Abney of WA, Brian Abney of KY, two daughters, Catherine Sneiders of CA and Gena Garcia of ID, two step sons, Jerry Searan Jr. of CA and Jim Searan of KY, one step daughter, Venus Ann Yo of CA, one sister, Barbara Price of KY several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Robert Beasley and Phillip Beasley and one sister, Elizabeth Betty Wiles. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Jim Searan and Dr. Curtis Sellers officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 AM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
