Cody DeWane Mesaris

Cody DeWane Mesaris, 16, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away Friday, December 21, 2012. He was born in Fayette County, Kentucky on November 15, 1996, son of Shelia McAninch Mesaris and the late Timothy Robert Mesaris. He was a sophomore at Lincoln County High School and worked for McAninch Dairy. He was a member of FFA and Eubank Church of Christ. Cody was an honor roll student, loved hunting, fishing, four wheeling, all sports and being outdoors. He is survived by his mother, Shelia Mesaris of Waynesburg, sister, Rachel & (Chris) Pivonka of Nicholasville, KY, maternal grandparents, Janis and Gertrude McAninch of Waynesburg, paternal grandmother, June Mesaris of Princeton, KY, aunts and uncles, Janice and Larry McAninch, Tony Mesaris and Todd Mesaris. He was preceded in death by his father, Timothy Robert Mesaris and paternal grandfather, Joseph Mesaris. Visitation will be after 11 AM Monday, December 24, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Monday, December 24, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Barry Lee officiating. Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
