Christine Alice Dalton, 83, of Burnside, Kentucky, passed away Monday, December 24, 2012 in Dayton, Ohio. Christine was born in Kidder, Kentucky on September 14, 1929, daughter of the late Taylor and Frona Jane Flynn. Christine was a devoted wife, loving mother and caring friend. At the age of 16, Christine confessed her faith in the Lord. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Kidder, KY. She worked as a homemaker and enjoyed listening to music, attending family gatherings, cooking and gardening. Her greatest pastimes were bird-watching and caring for animals. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Boyce J. Dalton; one sister, Joann Wallen of Somerset, KY; two daughters, Joyce & (Timothy) Ringler of Springboro, OH; Rilla & (Gregory) Liles of Sandy, Utah; and one son, Kelly Dalton of Centerville, OH. She is also survived by one grandson, Jason & (Adriane) Ringler of Louisville, KY; four granddaughters, Lisa & (Kenneth) Rathburn of New Albany, OH, Michelle & (Christopher) Torres Luco, Amanda and Krista Liles all of Sandy, UT; one great-granddaughter, Abigail Rathburn; three great-grandsons, Aiden Ringler, Owen and Elliot Rathburn; and extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Luid C. and Darold J. Flynn. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Dalton officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation for Christine Alice Dalton will be after 6 PM Friday, December 28, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Alzheimer's Association or National Kidney Foundation. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
