David Wayne Dick

David Wayne Dick, 47, of Eubank, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 6, 2013. David is survived by his wife, Mary Roberts Dick, whom he married on March 9, 1990, his children, Timothy Dick and Kasi & (Jonathan) Calhoun, two grandchildren, Braden and Presley, his parents, Billy and Gloria Dick, all of Eubank, his siblings, Ronnie & (Carla) Dick of Science Hill and Vanessa Taylor of Eubank, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and many friends. He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on December 12, 1965, son of Billy and Gloria Smith Dick. He was a mason for 25 years and a friend to all that knew him. David enjoyed golfing, playing horse shoes and watching Kentucky basketball. Mostly though, he enjoyed his family. His grandson Braden was his pride and joy. David was a good hardworking, honest man and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his second grandchild, his namesake, David "Gage" Dick. This obituary was written by his daughter, Kasi. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Arnold officiating. Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
