Edith Tyree

Edith Tyree, 90, of Old Bull Road in Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on April 21, 1917, daughter of the late George Fed and Florida Jane Todd Bishop. She was a homemaker and a member of Fairview Church of Christ. She is survived by one son, Clifford & (Linda Sue) Tyree of Eubank, one daughter, Linda Jean Tyree of Eubank, one brother, Marvin & (Linda) Bishop of West Chester, OH, two sisters, Mae Dye of Somerset and Evelyn & (Alvin) Surber of the Estesburg Community, sister-in-law, Dorothy Bishop of Virginia, two grandchildren, Kenneth Edwin Tyree and Tommy Dwayne Tyree and one great-grandchild, Jacob Tyree. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Tyree, who died on February 13, 1991, her parents, one brother, George Bishop, one sister, Ruth French and brothers-in-law, George Dye and June French. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday, February 15, 2008 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Curt Herrington officiating. Burial will be in Etna Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
