Johnny "Wayne" Acey

Johnny "Wayne" Acey, 56, of West Highway 635 in Science Hill, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 17, 2008 at his residence. He was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on October 18, 1951, son of the late Charlie and Stella Godbey Acey. He was a farmer. He is survived by his wife, Tressia "Terri" Sweet Acey, whom he married on September 6, 1980, two sons, Barry Wayne Acey and Ricky Allen Acey, both of Science Hill, one brother, Charles & (Wanda) Acey of Perryville, KY, two sisters, Morene & (Jim) Wesley of Science Hill and Beulah Vaught of the Pulaski Community and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Science Hill United Methodist Church with Bro. Troy Poff officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home and after 10 AM Wednesday at the church. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
