Delmer F. Blevins, age 82, of Eubank, passed away at his residence on Thursday, January 31, 2013.
He was born in Eubank, KY on January 31, 1931, the only child of the late Charlie and Lola Littrell Blevins.
He was a retired farmer and a Korean War U.S. Marine veteran, and a member of Goochtown Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Doris Godbey Blevins and his five children, Patricia Epperson and Pam (Randy) Dyer of Eubank, Lisa Koger of London, and Chris (Stephanie) Blevins and Kevin (Morghan) Blevins of Eubank. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Bradley (Lauren) Epperson, Denise Koger (Harold) Thomas, Connor Blevins, Baron Blevins, and Hadley Blevins, and two great-grandchildren, Corden Thomas and Aden Thomas.
He was preceded in death by both parents and one son-in-law, David Koger.
Visitation will be on Saturday after 6:00 p.m. at the Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Morris and Hislope Funeral Home, Science Hill, Kentucky, with Gerald Carter officiating.
Burial will be at the Goochtown Cemetery.
