Irene Smith

Irene Smith, 73, of Lakeview Drive in Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2008 at her residence. She was born in Bandy, Kentucky on October 26, 1934, daughter of the late Jeff and Virgie James Brown. She was a homemaker and a member of Fairview Church of Christ. She is survived by two sons, Kevin & (Reneé) Smith and Alan & (Susann) Smith both of Warren, MI, one sister, Ardella Taylor of Eubank and four grandchildren, Bryan Smith, Kristopher Smith, Branden Smith and Brittany Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Smith and her parents. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Thursday, February 28, 2008 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Curt Herrington officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
