Opal Blevins

Opal Blevins, 83, of Hillview Avenue in Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at Britthaven Nursing Home. She was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on January 15, 1925, daughter of the late Jim and Estell Dick Spaw. She was a homemaker and a member of Science Hill Church of Christ. She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Blevins, her parents, one son, Darrell Blevins and two brothers, Roy Spaw and Clyde Spaw. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Friday, February 29, 2008 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
