Imogene Warren

June 1, 1947 — March 1, 2008

Imogene Warren, 60, of Hwy. 635 in Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Casey County, Kentucky on June 1, 1947, daughter of the late Jerry Mar and Para Lee Dick Warren. Imogene was one of nine children. She was a piano player. She is survived by two brothers, William & (Ivadean) Warren of Science Hill and John Cal & (Barbara) Warren of Cincinnati, OH, two sisters, Janice Warren of Science Hill, who was her sister, but more importantly, she was Imogene's care provider and her best friend and Brenda Sue & (Danny) Dick of Science Hill, who was her niece, but raised as her sister. She is also survived by six nieces, Becky Haag, Linda Hale, Judy Haste, Genetta Kinney, Cindy Speaks and Diana Belcher, eleven nephews, Mike Warren, Tom Warren, David Warren, James Warren, Darrell Warren, Larry Warren, Danny Warren, Jerry Warren and Dewayne Warren and Terry Dick and D.J. Dick, fifteen great-nieces, eleven great-nephews and special friends, Donna Ray and Bonnie Woodcock. Imogene was a very loving and special person. She loved her church, singing, playing the piano, eating out and being with her friends and family. Two very special little girls who brightened up her days and her life are great great nieces, Kyndal and Kylee Haste who also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Egbert Warren, Don Warren and Dirl Warren, two sisters, Geneva Short and Virginia Mae Warren, one great-nephew and one great-niece. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at Ansel Baptist Church with Bro. Stanley Childers and Bro. Charles Woodcock officiating. Burial will be in West Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Monday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
