Josiephene Vickers Barron

Josiephene Vickers Barron, 94, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on April 16, 1918, daughter of the late Willard Wilson "Mike" Vickers and Cleo Brinkley Butcher Vickers. She was a homemaker. She is survived by one son, Alton & (Janice) Barron, one daughter, Janet Verlene Clark, both of Somerset, two grandchildren, Dale & (Janie) Barron and Rhonda & (Jimmy) Nelson, six great-grandchildren, Courtney Nelson, Connor Nelson, Chandler Nelson, Chase Nelson and Cassie Nelson and Paige Barron, one step-grandchild, Chelsey Jones and a step-great grandchild, Peyton Lefler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Joseph Barron, her parents, one brother, Clarence Eugene Butcher and one sister, Fannie Lou Hansford. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Hall officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
