Earl R. Edens

Earl Edens, 74, of Cincinnati, Ohio, formally of Pulaski County, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2008. He was born in Mintonville, Kentucky on July 23, 1933, son of the late Luther and Betty Dye Edens. He is survived by his loving companion, Donna Spenny, one son, William "Willie" & (Marie) Edens, one daughter, Sherry & (Gary) Haist, one brother, Denny Edens, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and dear friend Bill Spenny. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Alvin Wayne Edens and three brothers, Larry "Budge" Edens, Robert Edens and Jim Edens. Services will be at 7 PM Monday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home, Science Hill, KY. Burial will be in Richmond Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 PM Monday. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Childern's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-1905. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
