Bonnie Skeens, 71, of Old Kentucky Highway 501 in Kings Mountain, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2008 at her residence.
She was born in Hazard, Kentucky on February 5, 2008, daughter of the late Kelly and Ida Kebberin Watts. She was a cook for Mary Breckenridge Hospital and of the Catholic faith.
She is survived by four sons, Glen Skeens of Eubank, Gary Skeens of Hyden, KY, Nathan Skeens of Perry County, KY and Gerald Skeens of Lincoln County, KY, one daughter, Debbie Colwell of Eubank, one sister, Nannie Campbell of Hazard, KY, ten grandchildren, Melissa Prewitt of Science Hill, Flora West of Kings Mt., KY, Marty Colwell of Hazard, Ginger Taylor of Eubank, Stephanie Skeens of Waynesburg, Saha Mae Skeens of Waynesburg, Amy Stephens of Somerset, Ashley Skeens of Somerset, Cameron Skeens of Hazard and Joshua Skeens of Hazard and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey David Skeens, her parents, four brothers, Buster Watts, Green Watts, Kelly Watts and Edd Watts and two sisters, Mary Turner and Razelle Watts.
Private services will be held.
