Larry Wayne Burton

Larry Wayne Burton, 52, of Burnside, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 20, 1960, son of Ray and Shelva Vaught Burton. He was owner and operator of Burton Concrete Specialties and a dedicated Scout Leader. He is survived by his parents, Ray and Shelva Burton of Eubank, companion, Alison Coons of Burnside, two brothers, Kenny Burton & (Mary Tyson) of Somerset and Chris Burton & (Donna) of Faubush, nephews, Kent Burton & (Ashley), Brice Burton & (Beca) and Dylan Burton, nieces, Andrea Roberts & (Josh) and Mahala Burton and great-nephews and nieces, Karson, Allie, Kendall and Brody. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd Burton, Bessie Burton Delton Vaught and Beatrice Vaught. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Donations may be made to the Science Hill Garden Club or Boy Scouts of America, Troop #379, chartered Floyd Switch Baptist Church in Eubank. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
