Lillian Loraine Denney

Lillian Loraine Denney, 79, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Cumberland Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born in Rockcastle County, Kentucky on March 12, 1934, daughter of the late William and Mary Audrey Graves McKinney. She was a homemaker and a member of Woodstock Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons, Claude & (Karen) Denney of Eubank, Randall "Pete" Denney of Somerset and Clinton & (Fern) Denney of Eubank, two brothers, Cecil McKinney and Casper McKinney, both of Mt. Vernon, one sister, Susan Durham of Clayton IN, two grandchildren, Loraine "Lori" & (Chad) Shivel and Cody Denney and two great-grandchildren, Kelsi Shivel and Aliyah Shivel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Omer Denney, whom she married on August 18, 1956 and who died on May 29, 1988, her parents, one daughter, Frances Alene Denney, four brothers, Samson, Wayne, Leonard and Cossie McKinney and two sisters, Lou Manda Stephens and Rosa McKinney. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Griffin officiating. Burial will be in Woodstock Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
