Joyce A. Wesley

Joyce A. Wesley, 68, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2013 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Science Hill, Kentucky on May 25, 1945, daughter of the late Robert Wallace and Ella Christine Hall Godby. She was a homemaker. She was a Christian and a member of Northside Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Joe Steve Wesley , whom she married on March 1, 1962, two daughters, Jo Anne & (Terry) Hobbs of Pembroke Pines, FL and Jennifer & (Kenneth) Albers of Knoxville, TN, three brothers, Ronald & (Debbie) Godby of Goshen, OH, Donald & (Carla) Godby and Billy & (Tina) Wilson, both of Cincinnati, OH, four sisters, Sue & (Charlie) Woodall of Milford, OH, Peggy Phelps of Amelia, OH and Sandra Wallan and Debra Goodman, both of Fairfield, OH, aunt, Rosa Mae Taylor of Science Hill, special nieces and nephews including Ricky and Paula Anderson and Savanna Dawn, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Douglas Godby and one sister, Brenda Chance. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Dave Muse officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 AM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
