Frederick A. Mick

Frederick A. Mick, 83, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean Waddle Care Center. He was born in Gassaway, West Virginia on April 7, 1930, son of the late Otis and Luella Humphrey Mick. He was a construction worker for Ellsworth Construction Company and a fireman in Vermilion, Ohio. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Phyllisteen Mullins Mick of Eubank, two daughters, Tricia & (Guy) Wooldridge and Viola Correll, both of Somerset, seven grandchildren, Hannah Denney, Rebekah Waters, Jennifer Correll-Lyles, Jesse Franklin, Sarah Padgett, Elizabeth Correll and Bradley Correll and four great-grandchildren, Elise Padgett, Jasmine Lowery, Isabella Denney and Isaac Waters. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Kenneth Mick, one sister, Martha Perkins and one grandchild, Michael Correll. A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon Friday, June 21, 2013 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Shelby Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens with military honors by American Legion Post #38. Visitation will be after 10 AM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
