Geneva Francis Ashley

Geneva Francis Ashley, 93, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Friday, June 21, 2013 at Somerwoods Nursing & Rehabilitation. She was born in Eubank, Kentucky on October 5, 1919, daughter of the late Clyde and Matoka Cornett Howson. She was a homemaker and a member of Polly Ann Church of God. She is survived by four sons, Janis & (Norma) Ashley of Eubank, Dallas & (Wanda) Ashley and Lester & (Paulette) Ashley, both of Cincinnati, OH and Jr. Clay Ashley of Eubank, one brother, Charles & (Ollene) Howson of Falmouth, KY, two sisters, Evaleen & (Lou) Benvengo and Josephine & (Glen) Zimmerman, both of Ohio, sixteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Ashley, two brothers, John Howson and Andrew Howson and three sisters, Jewell Reynolds, Ruth Smith and Mildred Adkins. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Monday, June 24, 2013 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Delmer Whitter officiating. Burial will be in Bethelridge Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 AM Monday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
