James Charles Glover, 45, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on August 27, 1967, son of Lamona Wells Glover and the late James Clarence Glover. He was an operator for R.R. Donnelly & Sons and former Crane employee. He was of the Baptist faith and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He was a member of NRA and Ducks Unlimited. He loved to hunt and fish.
He is survived by his wife, Ophia Darlene Roberts Glover, two sons, James Zachary Glover and Jacob Charles Glover, his mother, Lamona Glover, all of Eubank, one brother, James William & (Freda) Glover of Somerset, one sister, Lola Oliver of Science Hill, mother-in-law, Sarah Roberts, brother-in-law, William Keith Roberts, nephews, Tyler Roberts and Derek Roberts, all of Eubank, Gary & (Tani) Oliver of Lexington, nieces, Tabitha & (Aaron) Smith of Science Hill and Cherish Oliver of New Albany, IN, great-nephew, Malachi Roberts and several other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Clarence Glover, two sisters, Deborah Early and Mary Catherine Viars and father-in-law, William B. Roberts.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Shelby Reynolds officiating.
Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Post #38.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
