LaFerne Barron

LaFerne Barron, 76, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Eubank, Kentucky on May 29, 1937, daughter of the late Willis and Flossie Austin May. She was a homemaker and a member of Eubank Church of Christ. She is survived by two sons, Tim & (Deannie) Barron and Jason & (Audrey) Barron, both of Eubank, three daughters, Tressie & (George) Davis of Hamersville, OH, Pam & (Larry) Taylor of Brodhead, KY and Cathy & (Steve) Harris of Somerset, two step sons, Ronnie Barron and Danny Barron, both of Union City, IN, special companion, Frey Todd of Eubank, three brothers, Henry May of Eubank, Gerald & (Pearl) May and Jimmie & (Marcie) May, both of Waynesburg, two sisters, Betty Jo & (Murrel) Martin and Carolyn & (Bob) Cress, both of Eubank, twenty two grandchildren, twenty four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Milton Barron, her parents, one son, Vincent Kevin Barron, grandson, Michael Allen Barron, two brothers, Eugene May and Odell May and three sisters, Charlene Mullins, Nevada Sanders and Alma Cress. A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Goochtown Church of Christ with Bro. Randy Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Barron Cemetery, behind Goochtown Church of Christ. Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home and after 10 AM Saturday at the church. Donations may be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
