Ida Elizabeth Bishop, 87, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Friday, August 23, 2013. She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on April 16, 1926, daughter of the late Jason and Betha Jane Williams Hall. She was a representative for Avon and a member of Science Hill Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by two sons, Earl David Bishop and Kerry Dale & (Karen) Bishop, both of Science Hill, three brothers, Gus & (Myra Jo) Hall of Lebanon, OH, David & (Jeanne) Hall and D.B. & (Sue) Hall, both of Somerset, one sister, Maxine & (Ralph) McPheron of Somerset, three grandchildren, Bo Jarad Bishop, Bryan Conley & (Sarah) Bishop and T.R. Bishop, five great-grandchildren, Haggan, Shaw, Alexis, Willow and Brantlee, special friend, Betty Moyer of Science Hill, special niece, Ginger of Somerset and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Bishop, her parents, one brother, Glenn W. Hall, one sister, Ada June Hall and sister-in-law, Gertrude Hall. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Monday, August 26, 2013 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Dr. Curtis Sellars and Bro. Brian Whitaker officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Sunday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Bo Bishop, T.R. Bishop, Bryan Bishop, Gus Hall, D.B. Hall and David Hall. Donations may be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
