Lilah Ellen Standish

Lilah Ellen Standish, 65, of Kentucky Highway 3244 in Crab Orchard, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan on January 26, 1943, daughter of the late George N. and Dorsie Godbey Ferguson. She was a factory worker for BPI, Affinia Brake Parts in Stanford, Kentucky. She is survived by two sons, Roy A. Standish of Waynesburg and Timothy C. & (Sharon M.) Standish of Ypsilanti, MI, one daughter, Kelly Standish of Richmond, KY, one brother, Larry Ferguson of Ypsilanti, MI, two grandchildren, Timothy Standish and Arron Standish and two step grandchildren, Sharie Lincoln and Michelle Novak. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy M. Standish, who died on April 29, 1985, her parents and two brothers, Terry Ferguson and Thomas Beck. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home, Science Hill, KY. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Dixboro, MI. Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM Monday, May 12, 2008 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Dixboro, MI. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
