Gregory John "Greg" Farmer

Gregory John "Greg" Farmer Sr., 50, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean Waddle Care Center. He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on August 15, 1963, son of Ralph and Jean Hunt Farmer. He was a Gospel Illusionist and Evangelist. He was a member of High Street Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Sue Poynter Farmer of Somerset, one son, Gregory John "G.J." & (Hillary Ann Thompson) Farmer Jr. of Florence, SC, one daughter, Laura Sue Farmer & (Seth Aaron) Tilley, his parents, Ralph and Jean Farmer, maternal grandmother, Beulah Hunt, one brother, Rocky & (Sheila) Farmer, all of Somerset, one grandchild, Gregory John "Jack" Farmer III and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, September 14, 2013 at East Somerset Baptist Church with Bro's. Ed Amundson, Darvie Fenison, officiating, and David Morris, board member of Greg Farmer Evangelistic Ministries, will speak about Greg's ministry. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at East Somerset Baptist Church. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
