Helena Joyce Taylor

Helena Joyce Taylor, 71, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Ware, Kentucky on February 10, 1942, daughter of the late Paul and Eula Wesley Foster. She was a factory worker for Liberty Sports Wear and a member of Bethelridge United Methodist Church. She loved to garden, cook, spend time with her family and she loved the Lord. She is survived by her husband, Carroll Franklin Taylor, two daughters, Nancy & (Jerry) Leigh and Ann & (Dan) Engle, four grandchildren, Leslie & (Stephen) Haste, Joshua Godbey & (Jessica Meece), Daniel & (Shaina) Engle and Jake Engle, all of Science Hill, seven great-grandchildren, Zachery Haste, Sarah Haste, Zoey Godbey, Samantha Haste, Joshua Paul Godbey, Danny Engle and Bodie Engle, two brothers, James Foster and Prentice Foster and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Sue Spears and Marilyn Lou Foster. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Bethelridge United Methodist Church with Bro. David Green and Bro. Eddie Dick officiating. Burial will be in Bethelridge Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
