Piccola E. Stevens

Piccola E. Stevens, 89, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on January 8, 1924, daughter of the late Charlie and Stella Thompson Hampton. She was a homemaker. She is survived by one son, Gary & (Patrice) Stevens of Louisville, KY, one daughter, Marcia Stevens Murphy & (David) of Wilmore, KY, one sister, Faye Detherage and three grandchildren, Shannon Murphy, Greg Stevens and Julie Stevens. She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Stevens, her parents and one sister, Norma Thompson. A graveside service will be at 12 Noon Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Poplar Grove Cemetery with Bro. David Green officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery. Family visitation will be after 10 AM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy, take the form of donations to a charity of your choice. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
