Charles R. Wilson

Charles R. Wilson, 72, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on April 3, 1941, son of the late Willie Ray and Nancy Hall Wilson. He was retired from masonry work and attended Beech Grove Methodist Church. He enjoyed riding horses. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara Haste Wilson, whom he married on October 29, 1960, three sons, Mike & (Shannon) Wilson and Jeff & (Misty) Wilson, both of Eubank and Scott & (Lynnette) Wilson of Science Hill, one brother, Leon & (Dorothy) Wilson of Somerset, five grandchildren, Caleb & (Erica) Wilson, Josh & (Beth) Wilson, Faith Wilson, Thomas Wilson and Josie Wilson and three great-grandchildren, Haylee Wilson, Austin Wilson and Tucker Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Lynn Wilson. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Dave Bolin officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
